This result will help winegrowers to make informed decisions when replanting\nexisting vineyards or establishing new plantations. Given that the productive lifespan of a\ngrafted vineyard reaches several decades, decisions taken today will have a lasting impact\nfor the next generation of vine growers as well.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The experiment at the vineyard of the Ionian University in Argostoli showed that, on the\nbasis of marginal gains in organic matter and nutrients alone, there is insufficient\nevidence to recommend abandoning tillage altogether and adopting No till.
